“Statistics Essentials” is an intense two-day program primarily for researchers and professionals. This program aims to enable participants with fundamentals of dealing with numbers. This will address topics on nature of data and data types (parametrics and non-parametric), descriptive statistics (describing, exploring and comparing data), probability distributions, brief introduction to R and statistical hypothesis testing (including t-tests, ANOVA, etc.).

Eligibility: This program is open to participants from any domain and not limited to engineering, sciences, ecology and social sciences. Participation is limited to 30 applicants.
